Various - Mostly travels through Kep

Kathryn catching up on some reading in a beautiful garden in Kampot; this photograph was taken the morning of our journey to Kep.

The following photographs were taken in Kep (75kms east from Kampot), along their sea wall, very reminicent of Stanley Park, without the rollerbladders, joggers, or the snow.

An old tree, growing at a right angle, and parallel to the ocean; you could walk out onto the tree for 15'.

Gordon cycling along the sea wall. Behind Gordon, on the photographer's right, is rabbit island. Apparently, pristine waters, and beautiful sandy beaches. A round trip is $7. We were told by other travelers that it's a great place to sun, read, drink beer, swim, and eat fresh seafood. Kathryn needed a break from the beach.

A secret spot. Take a seat, and soon, ice cold beer, and fresh seafood appear. Also not to be found along Stanley park sea wall.

The crab market.

The following photo's taken from our bungalow in Kep

From our window; hammock put to good use.

Lotus flowers outside our bungalow

The following are from a hike in Kep National Park. Unfortunatey, the camera battery did not last a quarter of the hike

Tree covered in vines

Wild rose; beautiful coast in the background.

  1. "Kathryn needed a break from the beach". I'm sorry, what?!

Is it wrong that I'm already counting the days until you're back? I miss you!!

Lots of snow, woke up to 34cm fresh yesterday morning - in.the.valley. It looks like Christmas here!
