A night out

We went to the Ho Chi Minh City Orchestra/Symphony and we absolutely loved it. We "dressed up" as much as we could...though we were both wearing flip flops...and sat down at 8:00 for the show.

The building itself is quite lovely. The performance had a choir with a soprano (Cho Hae Ryong) for the first half, then after intermission the symphony, with Dao Nhat Quang playing the clarinet. It was brilliant! We've since been poking around to see if the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra has any tickets available for February when we're back!

  1. Well, you're still more fancy pants than I can pull off right now - and I've got my entire wardrobe to dig through!

Snowing, snowing, snowing. It's looking like Christmas here.

    Miss you!!!
