An update: we've decided to cut out Africa all together and focus on Southeast Asia for the entire trip. Flying to Africa was going to be pretty expensive, and for us, 6 weeks wasn't enough time in Africa anyway so we'll save that for another trip in the future!
We're supposed to leave in 13 days. Ohmagosh we are so not ready, the house isn't even remotely finished! It's chaos, but we're working through our to do list as fast as we can.
